Renato’s is primarily a bar where you can meet friends and have a drink until 2am. Food is available to order up until 1.30am. We can get very busy later on, but the early evening is ideal for post-work drinks, informal meetings, or relaxed family eating out – being Italian we welcome children of all ages and have a high chair.
Whether it’s a pre-theatre bite, or the late-night munchies – our range of pizzas will delight and satisfy, from the traditional Fiorentina (tomato, Mozzarella, spinach and parmesan cheese) to the Rucola & Parma ham and the ever popular Inferno, with hot, spicy Italian salamino and chilli.
We’ve an interesting selection of bottled beers from Belgium, Poland, Germany and of course Italy, and Menabrea larger is on tap, first imported to England by Renato from his home town Biella. You can also sip a variety of Italian wines, including Vaio Armarone (gold medal winner) produced by Serego Alighieri, a direct descendent of Italy’s major medieval poet Dante Alighieri, author of The Divine Comedy, together with an award-winning Lambrusco called “Verdi” from Parma, in honour of the great composer himself.
